Learn how to register/signup to your Groov account, manage your connections and access your API credentials

Register/Sign-up to an institution account with Groov

To get started, you’ll need to register/sign up as a Groov account administrator. We’ll send you an email with a verification link. Verify your account with the link and then Sign in.

You are now logged in to the Groov Portal.

Account defaults

A default application gets created under your account allowing you to customise that application per your setup needs and you will be in a test mode by default (for details of modes, refer below)

The Product connections page allows you to configure your application setup with Groov

In the Integration section, you’ll find access to the institution client_id for your application; your user secret_key can be found in the Developers section. The user secret_key are used to authenticate your application against the Groov API and should be treated confidentially. We dont expire the user secret_keys at the moment but if you loose them, you can regenerate them on demand. The institution client_id is not secret but is used to identify your application instance with us as an institution.

The Integration section also allows you to configure redirect URIs. Groov's Connect consent flow (and SDK's) will redirect to one of these URIs when your customer authorises the account consent with Groov, we will not be able to redirect to any other locations. These redirect URIs could be as simple as your application page details from where you initiated the Groov Connect consent flow (or could be as simple as to your institution web page if the consent initiation at your end has been via a manual campaign).
